Fire Watch New YorkA Fire Watch is a physical inspection conducted when a building's Fire Alarm, Sprinkler or other Suppression Systems are hindered or temporarily out of service. Fire watch personnel are dispatched to buildings with broken or malfunctioning fire alarm or sprinkler systems where they then have a list of duties that includes keeping a vigilant watch over the building and surrounding areas, acting as human fire detectors.
They know how to activate fire alarms, know how to work the many various types of fire extinguishers, are familiar with the functions of a sprinkler system and know how to evacuate a building if they need to. Whether your event requires a Temporary Public Assembly (TPA) permit of your sprinkler system is not operational we can provide the fireguards required for your event.
